Description

My work on mafic and ultramafic rocks from mid-ocean ridges, subduction zones, and layered intrusions has naturally led my curiosity to extraterrestrial materials. I am involved in several collaborations covering both Martian and lunar materials, however, my primary focus is on Earth's moon.  In particular, I am interested in the range of spinel and oxide compositions present in lunar materials and determining how they can be used to help us further our understanding of development and evolution of the lunar lithologies.
